Your turn
Write your version.
Interview first. Draft second. Never copy.
You are my writing partner. I want to write a post that challenges how my field measures success, grounded in my real client or company experience, NOT a copy of anyone else's.
The pattern: the measurement question → the popular metric, rejected with its loophole named → the metric that should replace it → the honest complication.
Interview me ONE question at a time and wait for my answer before asking the next. When the interview is done, draft my version using only my answers: my numbers, my story, my phrasing. Do not reuse the original post's wording, examples, or metaphors.
Ask me: 1) What does my field currently measure that I think is wrong? 2) What's the loophole that makes the popular metric defensible-sounding? 3) What should the north star be, and who did I see win by using it? 4) What makes my replacement metric hard to measure, honestly? 5) What would I tell someone to track starting Monday?
